This is my personal reflection to Indonesian muslim society today's especially, on Islamic dissemination that explained to current situation of Islamic civilization. the first finding is when I come to rural and urban area of Indonesia, I found that "hell" as popular word among Ustadz. I am not sure, since when this message become very popular, but I think it happen since 20 years back. This condition justify me on why violence behaviour and lack of Islamic value articulate as peace path in society. Muslim society in Indonesia showed an Indications of applying formal standard of conduct but unclear on the substance of conduct. Many Da'i said Kafir and retaliation of sin on their message to ummah compare to say, peace, heaven, and help. The second findings is a case in Bengkulu, The mayor offer a gift such as a car and free ticket for umrah to Mecca. This case also brings a controversial method on how to bring back muslim to the mosque. The fact is every wednesday at Zuhur praying time, many of muslim come to the mosque and give their copies of Id to put in lottery session.

What can I say, there is a debate on this controversy. Mayor of Bengkulu said the most important from this event is the objective. He said, "I want to change society to be more religious and aware that the gift would not a prioritize anymore but went to mosque is a part of Muslim activity". In other session, Mayor of Bengkulu said, "my objective as mayor is to transform bengkulu society to be more religious than before, I think this method will make my objective to be more real".

As a Muslim and sociologist, I want to give my opinion to this fact. What is happen to Indonesian society today is not happen suddenly without systematic intervention to change trend and way of thinking. That the way of thinking and trend are systematically influenced and prepared from high investment that spent a lot of time and effort. The changing of perspective on religion from voluntary to commercial were easy way to do, but contrary to bring a commercial perspective to voluntary need more effort and resource to be spent. General concept of capitalisation and classes in society are more easy to be recognized. The sectoral ethic are not respected any more. All the things are swept away by polarization of high class society, materialism and political power. The value of equality, well distribution, and people center are challenged in Indonesia society today. Which is this value was offered by Islam previously, but now are not workable in Indonesia and it is going to be a dead end of Islamic fighter who believe Islam as peaceful way of life and prosperity for other. December 2012 is my fortune to return and see my home town, Padang, in West Sumatra. I just realized the values of Islam that is most of Minangkabau people belief in past has been gradually leave. I am also aware the caused is not simply explained as sector understanding. But the changing of people value from nature and cosmic centrist to human and economic centrist is complex situation of socio-anthropologist science. The intensity of earthquake from 2007 to 2009 has contributed to this change. More people was coming to help other as humanitarian actor on one side but other side, they were a cultural individual who brought new identity with different arrogance. No exception, for people who was part of Minangkabau community or the different community they belong at that time. Today, after three years, everything I know move from cultural society to liberal society who is standing in between old culture but it is more dilemmas to see how the future will be shaped. And also today, on December 28, 2012, more pressure to Padang coastline area increases to very critical situation that was caused by lack of local government policy to plan city landscape. Many of stores are established in coastline area and build their semi and permanent place to get penny and hope for better economic development. I said this very critical situation because, the occupation of business activity in Padang coastline is not able to manage by local government anymore, because everything has been totally changed of land use and landscape planning of coastline area that not consider nature protection. The Impression toward situation is explain loss of Islamic values in society.

Apa yang dirasakan di Indonesia sa'at ini kondisi lingkungan yang kian hari kian menurun dari sisi qualitas, dan lemahnya peran masyarakat mengendalikan dampak lingkungan yang disebabkan oleh intervensi modal dalam pengelolaan sumberdaya alam semakin memperparah kondisi distribusi  kesejahteraan. Efek yang berlanjut ini tidak saja berpengaruh sa'at ini, tapi juga menjadi investasi sosial generasi yang akan menerima kerusakan yang disebabkan kesalah-kelolaan sa'at ini. Adalah bukan sebuah ritual yang mesti terus diulang bagi bangsa yang memiliki kemampuan berpikir dan kekuatan nilai peradaban yang kaya akan refleksi alam dan kesadaran diri, bahwa upaya penyelematan lingkungan merupakan tanggungjawab kita semua, dimana hari Kartini bisa menjadi momentum yang tepat untuk memperbaiki kesalahan kita berprilaku terhadap alam kita dan teralienasi dari lingkungan kita.(Google+)

Ala'datul muhkamatun is the basic argumentation of Ushul fiqh that I learned from Islamic boarding school in 20 years back; I was exploring the meaning through my first research toward applications of four principle sin Minangkabau culture characteristics. In this basic argumentation found how the Islamic value can re-interpreted by Muslim community in order to conserve the local value before Islam came, beside this logic is functioned for adjustment argumentation on certain aspects for interest of harmony and balancing the perspective of synergistic in society. As Muslim, many of our understanding on Islam are only based on what we received from the past generation, and this situation is limiting our capability to apply the value as framework of interaction with the reality. The tendency to ignore the changes of life and fact, that lead Islam is marginalizing its own values and believes in life has been masif phenomenon in muslim society. The ignorance toward social transformation of human civilization in muslim society today, is changing Islam to be old religion that is not applicable anymore in current day. I want to say, there is something wrong in our perspective on Islam today, it is show when we response something in reality by violence, frustration or discredit others but when we confirm to Islam seem no appropriate answer, and tend to blame the situation. It is also lead the contradiction among Ummah that is fragmented Muslim as groups and understanding. This situation on Muslim society is lead to step backward rather than to step forward, it is very contradictive to the meaning of Ala'datul muhkamatun value. (Google+)
